The 2022 Subaru BRZ/Toyota GR86 provides a great balance of power, handling, and reliability. As with any vehicle, especially one that is going to see frequent track use, controlling fluid temperatures will ensure consistent power and engine longevity. The Mishimoto ZD/ZN8 oil cooler kit was developed specifically for the 2022 BRZ/GR86 and is a great addition to any street or track-driven vehicle, but for many track users an oil cooler is an absolute must.

The kit centers around a large Mishimoto 19-row cooler (11"w x 5.4"h x 2" thick)  mounted in the front bumper to provide optimal airflow and cooling efficiency. The included direct-fit mounting brackets and pre-assembled stainless steel lines with -10AN fittings ensure an easy and hassle-free installation. 

This Mishimoto cooler is proven to reduce oil temperatures by 20 °F (16 °C) while maintaining minimal pressure loss. In addition an approximate 0.75 quart increase in oil capacity further adds to the car's ability to absorb and shed heat.

The included heat shielding sleeve adds another layer of protection against abrasion while keeping engine bay heat out of the oil.

The Mishimoto 2022 BRZ/GR86 oil cooler kit can be customized to meet your needs with either a silver or black cooler and your choice of a non-thermostatic oil sandwich plate or one with a thermostat. Note that we highly recommend a thermostatic setup for any street driven car. The non-thermostatic  option does retain the stock oil-to-water oil cooler for quicker warmup. The thermostatic option replaces the stock oil-to-water cooler.
